As we continue to expand into new product categories, streamlining and simplifying our product line, Performance Series and Monitor Series have been combined into one exceptional new series: Monitor Series v.5. (See below for model lineup and specs.) Following are some of the highlights of this series:
NEW! PARADIGM® SUPERDRIVE™ TECHNOLOGY. Redesigned drivers and crossovers (see below) offer even higher levels of performance. Our new proprietary SuperDrive™ technology combines very high efficiency and very high output with ultra low distortion. Even with moderately powered amplifiers, Monitor Series v.5 delivers superior high-end performance.
NEW! Much Higher Efficiency + Higher Power Handling mean Monitor Series v.5 speakers compete directly with the efficiency and output of major
brands of horn speakers. And it’s a difference you can hear … in nonlevel-matched a/b comparisons Monitor v.5 speakers not only play as loud, their sound is authentically high-end! NEW! 3-Way Design for Center Channels delivers measurably improved off-axis performance and extended dynamic range while also ensuring superb timbre matching.

High-Power Phase-Coherent Crossovers boast an extremely efficient and effective series/parallel topology as well as close tolerance components, including: high-quality film capacitors first seen in Paradigm® Reference Studio Series v.3, high-power ceramic resistors, and air/steel core inductors.

NEW! 1˝ (25 mm) H-PTD™ High-Efficiency Pure-Titanium Domes, with redesigned tweeter WaveGuide™, deliver a significant increase in high-frequency output over previous generations. Powerful ceramic magnets (neodymium magnets in center channels and ADP-390) and ferro-fluid cooling ensure exceptional power handling for high frequency response that is crystal clear, exceptionally spacious and airy, with superb extension.
NEW! M-ICP™ High-Efficiency Minimum-Mass Injection-Molded Co-Polymer Polypropylene Midrange and Bass/Midrange Cones. The ultra-lowmass material combined with the exceptional rigidity achieved through the injection-molding process ensure audibly superior performance.
Dedicated Midrange Drivers have been optimized for their specific role in center channel and surround/rear performance: Ferro-fluid cooling for increased power handling; smaller overmolded surrounds to further reduce moving mass; and rigid lightweight copper voice coils to enhance motor power while also serving to reduce mass.
NEW! Over-Molded Santoprene® Polypropylene/Rubber Surrounds, Nomex® Spiders and Lightweight Copper or Aluminum Voice Coils. The over-molding process chemically bonds the cone to the surround at the molecular level, resulting in a substantial increase in strength and durability while reducing overallmass. Nomex® was chosen for its proven performance under even the most demanding conditions.
• Advanced High-Power Carbon-Infused Bass Cones continue to control the lower frequencies in this new series.
• Die-Cast or GRIP™ Glass-Reinforced Injection-Molded Polymer Chassis (varies by model) continue to offer outstanding rigidity across the series.
