Two's Company, Three or Four is Never a Crowd!

PCS subwoofers are designed to be used in pairs. Using two subwoofers allows you to randomize the standing waves within your listening room so that bass is distributed in a more uniform manner. Using two PCS subwoofers also ensures even lower distortion (not that you'll typically hear much distortion with a Paradigm sub!), but at very high output levels, you'll be suprised how clean and clear bass remains. For truly mind-blowing performance you can even use three or four PCS subs. One Paradigm® X-300 Amplifier is designed to power two, three or four subs in a room!

In-Ceiling System PCS-80R

Want the walls completely free of speakers? Our PCS-80R subwoofers are the answer. The matching complement to an in-ceiling Paradigm® Guided Soundfield system, PCS-80R's perfectly match the footprint of our Guided Soundfield models. All the output of a powerful Paradigm® subwoofer system but completely hidden from view. And since bass frequencies are non-directional as they go lower in frequency, no matter which way you position the subwoofer, it won't affect the stereo image of your front speakers or the soundstage of your multichannel speaker system.
